讲述泰利是摇滚歌剧作家，妻早丧，留下聪明懂事的儿子佐丹给他照顾。他们饲养了一头活泼可爱的小狗宙斯，与佐丹感情甚笃。邻居玛莉·贝芙是海豚专家，她极宠爱重回大自然的海豚洛珊，整日担心它孤独的性格未能融入海豚社群中。玛莉却发现小狗宙斯与海豚洛珊竟能意识交流，能互相谈话，岂料引来自私自利的卡化博士垂涎，不惜一切抢夺研究成果，使众人连带宙斯和洛珊陷入险境……。The story is set in the 1930s, somewhere in the mountains in Romania. It centres on Simion, a ranger who lives like a hermit in the middle of the forest. One day, he stumbles upon a beaten-up woman, Irina, and tries to find out who has hurt her. He also tries to stay away from her but fails.。
