The film will also take a look at the 1980s, a period that defined our world.。香港警方商业罪案调查科高级探长Michael（王凯韦 饰）被上司委派追查香港一家国际财务公司，该公司与多宗国际犯罪集团洗黑钱案件有关，事件更牵涉其旧友梁乐琳。梁离开警队后，最近才加入该财务公司任职业务主任，与坤哥（雷宇扬 饰）两人是该财务公司石井老板身边得力手下。而且该公司正进行一个大专生借贷优惠计划，该计划正是由梁全权负责。起初Michael打算向梁查探，但恐怕案件与梁有关，于是Michael深入调查梁和该公司的运作情况，并决定借助这个大专生借贷计划展开调查工作……。
